RICCIONE, ITALY, 27-29/09/2019
FITAE-ITF’s sporting year started with the annual Sabums and Sahyuns workshop, held in Riccione, in the last weekend of September 2019.
The most active Instructors from IV to VIII degree gathered to discuss and train under the guidance of GM Willem Jacob Bos, FITAE Technical Director.
As usual, the atmosphere was enthusiastic and relaxed with time and opportunities to discuss about many technical matters and about the future of the Italian Federation.
On Friday afternoon Master Carmine Caiazzo, President FITAE-ITF, and the members of the Board of Directors welcomed the participants ready to start the important event.
During the first meeting the Board presented to the audience a booklet, edited by Mrs Tiziana Mimmocchi, which collects all the events organized by FITAE for its members during the previous sports year. A good tool to keep in our schools to show the level and the frequency of FITAE competitive, educational and recreational activities throughout Italy and abroad.
The Sabums and Sahyuns workshop is a tailored cut event dedicated to our top Instructors in order to strengthen friendships with the colleagues, or to make new contacts with the recent promoted Sabums, away from competitions or other intense events. In addition, it offers the opportunity to train at a different level and to deepen the knowledge of the higher patterns and other technical matters.
On this occasion GM Bos presented the ITF diplomas to the newly promoted Instructors. Special mention to Mrs. Maria Grazia Nenciati, first female Master in Italy.
The sponsor NI-KKO SPORT was present at the event to greet the participants and to offer complimentary gadgets.
The accommodation in Riccione was excellent at the 4 stars Hotel Vittoria, and the weather (still summer in Italy!) was perfect for an evening stroll in the beach town and for a large, homemade ice cream all together after the trainings.
For two days GM Bos taught to the Instructors transmitting his well known passion and knowledge. A true Taekwon-Do full technical immersion analyzing small details and movements’ application as well as teaching techniques.
As has become tradition in the FITAE meetings, on Saturday night the participants took part in a nice informal dinner with music, dancing and singing.
Life is always beautiful when you practice Taekwon-Do.
